Janet Larsen

Janet Larsen is a research associate and one of the incorporators of the Earth Policy Institute, a non-profit environmental research organization based in Washington, D.C. She has a B.S. in Earth Systems from Stanford University.
Larsen is one of the authors of the forthcoming Earth Policy Reader (2002), and researched a variety of sustainability issues for Lester Brown's Eco-Economy: Building an Economy for the Earth (W.W. Norton & Company, 2001).
Prior to moving to Earth Policy, she was a staff researcher at the Worldwatch Institute, and is a contributor to Worldwatch's annual publication, Vital Signs.
Her wide-ranging interests include agriculture, biodiversity, global change, population, and natural resource issues. She has also spent time studying the rainforest and the amphibians of the Peruvian Amazon.
